PaperCrafts Magazine, Challenge #8-Use a Yard of Ribbon

Hi there friends! I have to say, I surprised myself and used way more than a yard of ribbon on this card! At first I thought it would never happen, but after I had that yummy Espresso Scalloped Tulle Ribbon down, I knew I needed to add some Pretty in Pink Stitched Grosgrain to make a sweet little baby card! Hope you enjoy! (and I hope someone I know has a baby girl soon so I can send this card! ;o)

Using Negative Space

Good Morning! I hope you are all having a great day! I'm always in awe when I see people using their negative space in a creative and fun way. (Remember Samantha's card back here?) For some reason, I never think to explore that avenue of creativity. This card was CASE'd (and altered to suit my supplies) from Becky Roberts, and I absolutely adore it! My personal challenge over the next little while is to start seeing negative space as a positive, and see if I can add it into my work!

I hope you all had a great New Years Eve, and are headed into a fantastic 2012! This card was made for my Artful*Inkers Team Swap in November. The theme was "Kids Birthday Cards", I thought this made a very pretty "Baby's 1st Birthday" card. (but really, is appropriate for any age...)
