PaperCrafts Magazine Challenge 3-Stamp on Felt

Morning everyone! Here is Challenge #3 from THIS mag, which I adore! I only had white felt in the house, and my plan for all of these challenges, is to use products I already have in the house :o) I went soft and elegant with this pretty little card. My black StayzOn looks light grey on the felt (think I need to re-ink my pad!), but I like the look!

PaperCrafts Challenge #1, Use a Page from the Phone Book

Oh my word! Have you guys seen THIS magazine?!? PaperCrafts Magazine released a mag subtitled "75 Creative Card Challenges" and my goal is to complete them one at a time and post them here. I'll add a linky too, and hopefully some of you will want to play along with me and share your creations!

 So Challenge #1 was to use a page from your phone book. And on a personal challenge, I've decided NOT to buy anything for these challenges, I have to start using up my stash of products, and even some of my products I haven't done anything with...so VOILA! My Elegant Bird Bigz die (that I've owned since its release) is FINALLY  being showcased! Wahoo to challenges AND using stashed away items! :o)

Paper Crafts Mag CASE/Adaptation #4

Yay! Here's another card I CASEd/adapted from the Mar/Apr 2012 Paper Crafts Magazine. I literally sat down, and flipped page by page and adapted their cards and layouts to be used with my SU! supplies. To get this effect, use versa mark ink to stamp the background stamp. Then tilt the card stock and drizzle different colors of embossing powder on it to give it this look.

Hi all! So I took the cards from the last post and modified them for a different look. Since Pantone has named Tangerine Tango the "IT" color of 2012 (Click HERE to read the article!), of course I had to create with this color! Hope you enjoy!

Loving my Stamp-a-ma-jig!

Hello everyone! Have used the stamp-a-ma-jig lately (or at all)? I've pulled mine out again, and it's amazing how nicely you can line up images with it! LOL! I couldn't have pulled these super cute cards off without the stamp-a-ma-jig!

All I did was ink up a background stamp, lay down a sticky note where I wanted to mask the area, stamp the background. Then in the left over space, stamped the images with Staz-On and then went from there. Super fun, super fast!

Retiring Get Well Wishes

I had a hunch this set (Fun and Fast Notes) would retire, and I wanted to get some more use from it, before it did! Its a super fast, super easy card, and over the next 4 days, you'll see variations of this CAS layout. World Card Making Day, Project #2

Hiya friends! Here is the 2nd project the ladies (and children, and man...thanks "C", you are a rocking man stamper! LOL!) could make at my World Card Making Day Celebration, held this past Sunday. Each little folder holds 4 gift cards (3x3") and envies. The package makes a fabby little gift, or project to keep and use for yourself! This project is the only one I actively DISCOURAGED the kids from making...the combo of bleach and Stayz-On ink sent my brain spinning! LOL! The idea from this card came from one we saw demo'd at Regionals. Unfortunately I forget who demo'd it, so if it was you (or you know who it was), let me know so I can thank you properly!
