SPCC 25, card 2

The color combo Samantha picked over at SPCC was begging to be made into more Christmas cards, so here goes take 2 on this weeks color challenge. Unfortunately, it doesn't photograph very well, the background matches the Very Vanilla CS, and washes it all out! Wah! The gems are totally Certainly Celery...truest me on this one...and THANKS Dollarama!!!

Come on over to the SPCC site ladies, to enter your own creation, or just to peek at the other entries! So much creativity over there, just begging to be shared!

Ingredients: (all SU! unless otherwise mentioned)
Handsome Hunter Classic Ink, Very Vanilla CS, Kraft CS, Gems from Dollarama (my Certainly Celery bit!), Trim the Tree stamp set (used for the greeting inside the card), and Lovely as a Tree stamp set.

Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #13, OCCC

Happy Sunday All! My generous SU! Sales Rep (http://www.scrappinwithdonna.typepad.com/) tucked a surprise of some new DSP's in my order from last month, and I was very excited to use them! They fit perfectly with the OCC Challenge (http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/2009/09/occ-challenge-happy-fall-yall.html), which was to design something with a "fall/autumn" theme. And Makeesha's sketch (http://www.makeeshabyl.com.au/index.php/2009/09/18/inkspirations-sketch-challenge-13/) (which I flipped sideways!) lent itself to perfectly showcasing the papers!

Ingredients (all SU! unless otherwise noted):
Autumn Traditions DSP, Kraft CS, Elegant Eggplant DSP and Classic Ink, Soft Suede Stampin' Write, Ruby Red CS and Classic Ink, More Mustard Classic Ink, Sanding Block, Ribbon from Michaels.

SPCC #10, OCCC

Hi Girls!

Here's another card for two challenges, Samantha's SPCC #10 (colors Pumpkin Pie, Pale Plum and Crushed Curry) link here for the deets and other gorgeous creations http://spcolorcombos.blogspot.com/2009/08/spcc-10.html , and the Our Creative Corner Challenge. (click here for all the other fantastic interpretations http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/2009/08/occ-challenge-inspiration-challenge.html )This one was a bit trickier for me, as it was soooooo open ended. The theme was the following sentence "In rural communities, it’s almost time for harvest." After some thought, I could see an autumn sunset, and the rest of the card went from there. And lucky me, Samantha's fabby colors were the perfect ones for this!

Ingredients (all SU! unless otherwise noted):

Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink, Pale Plum Classic Ink and CS, Crushed Curry Classic Ink, CS and 5/8" polka dot ribbon, Aqua Painter, Versa Mark ink, Detail Black EP, Heat Tool, Twine from unknown source, water spritzer, glue dots and pop dots from Dollarama.
