Good morning ladies! I am hitting both OCC challenges in one card this week (oops! Actually I am missing the Sketch entry...I guess I am too late, but will post the link for the sketch anyway). The top card is my actual entry, the bottom card is the simplified version we will be making in my Mom'n'Me Mothers Day Class on May 1. The LO comes from the OCC Sketch Challenge, and the challenge at OCC was to use bows. Hope you all enjoy my happy, summery cards!

Inkspirations Sketch Challenge 20, OCCC

Yay me! My mom and dad took the kids to hockey Fri night and I had a quick chance to dust off the mojo, and create a card for Keesh's Inkspiration's Sketch Challenge 20 this week! I also got to use some of my new DSP's, Stamps, and Punches. Woohoo being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, and earning FREE stuff!!! I'm also entering this in the Our Creative Corner Challenge-which is to make an Easter or Spring card.

So how cute is this???

I was walking through Home Depot last weekend, and what jumped out and grabbed my eye? These paint chips!!! Apparently Behr has put out some leaf shaped paint chips that were BEGGING to be made into a cutie little card! As it turns out, they were just what was needed for my OCCC card. The challenge this week was to create a card with blues and greens, so (with the addition of Kraft) Voila! Hope you enjoy!

Oh. My. Word. I hate to boast...but I LOVE THIS CARD!!! I never would have created it if it weren't for Jen DelMuro's sketch at "I {Heart} to Stamp" http://iheart2stamp.com/2009/12/05/bella-birthday-blog-hop-first-saturday-of-the-month/ , and the Our Creative Corner blog for the idea of a card based on the song "Twelve Days of Christmas" http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/2009/12/occ-challenge-12-days-of-christmas.html . He-ey! Another item I can share! Here's my entry for the OCC challenge. GREAT layout...I can see myself using this for many other occasions....birthdays, weddings, baby showers etc! I made 5 of these babies...they match my wrapping (and gift tags I talked about earlier, and will show a bit later) and look fantastic as a whole package! I made them in the match book style, and when opened, the SU! Slot Punch was used at the left and right edges to hold a gift card inside. Like I said, I can see myself making these for ALL occasions!

Hello again...it's me and my Christmas spirit once again! ;o) I have a few obsessions right now...one being my Fa La La Slice cartridge, the other being Christmas! I haven't broken out the Christmas tunes yet...I may have to put them on my i pod so I am the only one being inflicted by them this early, but boy, I tell you, I am looking forward to hearing them! Hee!

Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #13, OCCC

Happy Sunday All! My generous SU! Sales Rep (http://www.scrappinwithdonna.typepad.com/) tucked a surprise of some new DSP's in my order from last month, and I was very excited to use them! They fit perfectly with the OCC Challenge (http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/2009/09/occ-challenge-happy-fall-yall.html), which was to design something with a "fall/autumn" theme. And Makeesha's sketch (http://www.makeeshabyl.com.au/index.php/2009/09/18/inkspirations-sketch-challenge-13/) (which I flipped sideways!) lent itself to perfectly showcasing the papers!

Inkspirations Color Challenge #12, OCCC - Stars and Stripes Forever

Hi there! This cute little card (approx 4x4") was made for Keesh's Inkspiration Color Challenge #12 ( http://www.makeeshabyl.com.au/index.php/2009/09/04/inkspirations-colour-challenge-12/ ), and the OCCC challenge "Stars and Stripes Forever" ( http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/2009/09/occ-challenge-stars-stripes-forever.html ). I'm loving the colors...initially I was thinking something bright, happy and floral, and somehow "bright, happy and floral" morphed into a Birthday card! LOL! Funny how that happens sometimes! I think I set my heart on the Big Birthday Candle for the stripes in my Stars and Stripes entry, and the colors just went too well to pass up! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the card as much as I do!

OCCC-Sketch Challenge

I loved how clean and simple that card was, so decided to adapt to the OCC (flipped on my behalf!) layout.

Here's another card for two challenges, Samantha's SPCC #10 (colors Pumpkin Pie, Pale Plum and Crushed Curry) link here for the deets and other gorgeous creations http://spcolorcombos.blogspot.com/2009/08/spcc-10.html , and the Our Creative Corner Challenge. The theme was the following sentence "In rural communities, it’s almost time for harvest." After some thought, I could see an autumn sunset, and the rest of the card went from there. And lucky me, Samantha's fabby colors were the perfect ones for this!

Hi all! I have to say I am really loving this card! The dog TOTALLY reminds me of my Great Dane (Scooby), although this one is OBVIOUSLY better behaved ! LOL! (For all you Scooby fans out there...he has slept for TWO nights in a row! I don't know what to do with myself I am sooooooooooo rested!!!)

This is for 3 challenges this week, the color challenge at Samantha's SPCC (link here for the deets spcolorcombos.blogspot.com/2009/07/sp-color-combo-6.html ) which I had to take a little leeway with. Since I am not an SU! "dealer", I won't get my "In Colors" through my club order until the end of July...I had to make due with the buttons from Forever in Time to approximate the Rich Razzleberry...hope this works well enough for you Samantha!). The Our Creative Corner Challenge, was to make a card with Pets as a theme, so voila the Great Dane!
