Eeeks! Totally cute!!!

Hey ladies! Isn't this a super cute project or what? I am in love with it! My BFF's daughter turned 4, and this was her present. She desperately wants the Build a Bear Monkey, so we tucked a gift card into the tin, and she can go create until her heart is content!

I'm not posting an ingredients list, merely because I don't know the names of all the products I used. My Upline owns the Build a Bear dies, (I think I used the SU! Bear, and SU! Beary Essentials, but could be totally wrong) so I spent an eve there eons ago cutting things out of random paper. Basically, stick a bear to each lid, cover with "packing tape" to "laminate" them on. Add bits of magnet to the backs of the clothes, decorate the tin (I can tell you I used Taken with Teal CS and Classic Ink, Tempting Turquoise 1/4" grosgrain Ribbon and Real Red 3/4" Grosgrain Polka Dot Ribbon, Very Vanilla CS, Big Birthday Candle Stamp Set, and School Book Serif Alphabet Stamp Set everything else is scraps left over from who knows where!) and VOILA! Your very own portable Build a Bear paper doll kit! LOVE IT!

Mojo Monday

Hi Friends! I've been busy lately making the teachers and daycare providers presents (which I won't post, only because they aren't originals...I bought Kristina Werners Virtual Card Club for September, and have been mass producing these goodies. They look fantastic and are fairly simple. And yet another masculine Birthday card! In my previous post I was saying that apparently I had used the stash I had going. I needed to find some for a friend last night, and lo and behold...I had lots of feminine ones, and children's cards, but none specifically for the men out there! So, here goes another one with the gorgeous "To the Nines" DSP.

Inkspirations Color Challenge #12, OCCC - Stars and Stripes Forever

Hi there! This cute little card (approx 4x4") was made for Keesh's Inkspiration Color Challenge #12 ( http://www.makeeshabyl.com.au/index.php/2009/09/04/inkspirations-colour-challenge-12/ ), and the OCCC challenge "Stars and Stripes Forever" ( http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/2009/09/occ-challenge-stars-stripes-forever.html ). I'm loving the colors...initially I was thinking something bright, happy and floral, and somehow "bright, happy and floral" morphed into a Birthday card! LOL! Funny how that happens sometimes! I think I set my heart on the Big Birthday Candle for the stripes in my Stars and Stripes entry, and the colors just went too well to pass up! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the card as much as I do!

Inkspiration Sketch Challenge 10

Here is my entry for the ever talented Makeesha Byl's Inkspiration sketch challenge. I realized this week I don't have enough masculine birthday cards, so in an attempt to remedy that, here this is! Check out the flame closely, I multilayered the stamp with Really Rust, Ruby Red and Barely Bananna to try to mimic a flame closer.
