Hey friends! I've mentioned on occasion the Stampin' Success magazine that Stampin' Up! Demo's get each month. They are chock full of great ideas and samples, and I always look forward to getting them. This card has been created from a photo of a 12x12 scrapbook page in the most recent mag. I love that you can take elements of designs, colors, ideas and layout, and change it up a bit to suit your needs. When I first started playing with this card, I had planned on using it in my Valentine's Day Class. After 2 days of (on and off) work at it, I finally conceded it was too intensive for a card class! :o) Hope you all like it as much as I do!

Quick Cards a la Color Coach!
You've seen this card recently, so ignore the actual layout for a bit, and come tour the amazing Color Coach with me! This is probably my MOST used tool when it comes to my creating. When I'm at a loss for a color combo, I flip it open, pick a color I'd like to use, and then on the back, there are 2 different combos to choose from. Sometimes I look at the suggested colors and think they will never work together, but each time I use them, I fall in love with a new combo!
So in the samples below, I've made 2 of the same cards using the 2 suggested color combinations. In all cases, the card on the left is from the "Creative Combination" suggestions, and the cards on the right are from the "Sweet Set" suggestions. I find it soooo interesting that all the cards have such a different feel, depending on which colors were used!
Enjoy!
Left card: Wisteria Wonder, Luck Limeade, Elegant Eggplant
Right card: Wisteria Wonder, Pink Pirouette and Cherry Cobbler (I have to admit, this was a combo I thought would look terrible, but I LOVE it!!!)
Left card: Pool Party, So Saffron, Not Quite Navy
Right Card: Pool Party, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip
Left Card: Lucky Limeade, Riding Hood Red, Perfect Plum
Right Card: Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight
Left card: Island Indigo, More Mustard, Lucky Limeade
Right Card: Island Indigo, Baja Breeze, Rich Razzleberry
Left card: Calypso Coral, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight
Right Card: Calypso Coral, Riding Hood Red, Basic Grey
Ingredients: (All SU!)
Classic Inks are listed above, Whisper White CS, all 5 new In Colors CS, Printed Petals Stamp Set, School Book Serif Alphabet, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals

missing U
Ok all, for the next 7 days, there will be 7 posts of the cards I made for L'il C's class fundraising basket. Her basket theme is "Off to Camp" so I've made 7 note cards, matching pen, stamps and envelopes for the lucky little child to send home to mom and dad. The cutest thing about this card (IMHO!) is the inside (which I didn't photograph)...look carefully at the card front, see anything missing? Inside I hand wrote missing, then stamped underneath that the U that is missing from the card front! Eeks! So cute!
Ingredients: (All SU!)
Yo yo yellow CS and Classic Ink, Real Red Classic Ink, Brilliant Blue Classic Ink and Stampin' Write (for the inside), Whisper White CS, School Book Serif Alphabet Stamp Set

Eeeks! Totally cute!!!
Hey ladies! Isn't this a super cute project or what? I am in love with it! My BFF's daughter turned 4, and this was her present. She desperately wants the Build a Bear Monkey, so we tucked a gift card into the tin, and she can go create until her heart is content!
I'm not posting an ingredients list, merely because I don't know the names of all the products I used. My Upline owns the Build a Bear dies, (I think I used the SU! Bear, and SU! Beary Essentials, but could be totally wrong) so I spent an eve there eons ago cutting things out of random paper. Basically, stick a bear to each lid, cover with "packing tape" to "laminate" them on. Add bits of magnet to the backs of the clothes, decorate the tin (I can tell you I used Taken with Teal CS and Classic Ink, Tempting Turquoise 1/4" grosgrain Ribbon and Real Red 3/4" Grosgrain Polka Dot Ribbon, Very Vanilla CS, Big Birthday Candle Stamp Set, and School Book Serif Alphabet Stamp Set everything else is scraps left over from who knows where!) and VOILA! Your very own portable Build a Bear paper doll kit! LOVE IT!
