Doobie Love!

Isn't he sweet?!? L'il C is horse crazy, and takes weekly riding lessons. Her favorite pony is Doobie, and he looks exactly like this little guy. We were fooling around with the Simply Scored tool and some Poppy Parade CS the other day, and voila! "Doobie" has a teeny tiny 1st place ribbon. LOVE! (to give an idea of the size of the "ribbon" the rosette is just under 2 cm diameter. Thanks goodness for sticky strip which is holding it all together! ;o)

Ingredients: (All SU!)
Simply Scored, Two Step Owl Extra Large Punch, Poppy Parade CS and Stampin' Write, Whisper White CS, Sticky Strip

Happy Birthday Butterflies!

Hi friends! This is one of those cards that is much prettier IRL...the smooch spritz sparkles all golden and copper, and it's much more intense in color. I loved playing with the masking technique and the smooch spritz! This card was CASEd from Kristina's site, here.

Sahara Sand CS, Log Cabin Smooch Spritz, Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die, Happiest Birthday Wishes Stamp Set, Whisper White Classic Ink, White Embossing Powder, White Gel Pen

Paper Crafts Mag CASE/Adaptation #7

Oh! Don't you just love how CAS this card is? This is definitely going to be a LO I use again, it works so well with SU!'s DSP. Since each sheet is double sided, it would not take very much paper to make a really pretty, coordinated, simple card with a pack of their DSP! This card was CASEd/adapted from Paper Crafts Magazine Mar/Apr 2012 edition.

Ingredients: (All SU!)
Happiest Birthday Wishes Stamp Set, Whisper White CS, DSP in 2010-2012 In Colors, Basic Black Classic Ink

Paper Crafts Mag CASE/Adaptation #6

This was a really quick and easy card that I CASEd/adapted from the Mar/Apr 2012 Paper Crafts Mag. I stuck with neutral stripes, as I had those 2 strips of paint chips on my desk, and added a pop of color with the Pear Pizzazz Card Stock. This card was Big C & L'il C's fave of the whole bunch I CASEd from the mag! :o)

Ingredients:
Pear Pizzazz CS, Paint chips from hardware store, buttons from my sewing kit, friends word from my crafty stash, glue dots.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Good Morning everyone! My mom's birthday was last weekend, and this is the card I made her. (because she checks my blog regularly, I didn't post it on the day, knowing she wouldn't be receiving it until that night :o) The BEST part of this card is that it's a "confetti flinger", and though a photo of it once the confetti was "flung" is terribly boring, you can catch a video on how to make it, and see it in action yourself right HERE. Thanks for the instructions Jackie, I will definitely be making this again!

Ingredients: (All SU! unless otherwise mentioned)
Blushing Bride CS, DSP and Classic Ink, Poppy Parade DSP, Pear Pizzazz DSP, Peach Parfait DSP, Concord Crush DSP, Sahara Sand Classic Ink, Early Espresso Classic Ink, Whisper White CS, Cherry Cobbler Red Bakers Twine, Flower Bigz Clear Die, Button from my crafty stash

Paper Crafts Mag CASE/Adaptation #4

Yay! Here's another card I CASEd/adapted from the Mar/Apr 2012 Paper Crafts Magazine. I literally sat down, and flipped page by page and adapted their cards and layouts to be used with my SU! supplies. To get this effect, use versa mark ink to stamp the background stamp. Then tilt the card stock and drizzle different colors of embossing powder on it to give it this look.

Ingredients: (All SU!)
Polka Dot Background, Happiest Birthday Wishes Stamp Set, Versa Mark Ink, Sahara Sand CS, Basic Black CS and 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon, Linen thread, Embossing Powder in Black, Gold, Silver, Iridescent Ice and Very Vanilla Scented (clear), Stampin' Dimensionals, Heat Tool,

Paper Crafts Mag CASE/Adaptation #3

Hi everyone! Here is another CASE/adaptation from the Mar/Apr 2012 Paper Crafts Mag. The original card was made on white CS with the DSP being rainbow bits of papers.
