Wonderfall Branches

Morning! Here is a fun, beautiful accent piece that didn't take too long to make. All of the leaves were cut from Watercolor paper using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die. The maple leaves were folded and run through my crimping tool. The Oak leaves were embossed using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. The leaves with the jagged edge (type? anyone?) were stamped with the Woodgrain Background Stamp in Crumb Cake Classic Ink, and the smallest leaves were left plain. All leaves were adheres to my upcycled Christmas branches using Sticky Strip, then everything was given a good misting with Log Cabin Smooch Spritz (retired). The photos don't really do it justice, Smooch Spritz doesn't really photograph true to is shimmery richness, does it? Hope you enjoy!

Day 2 of School Love Notes (and the journal that inspired them :)

Good afternoon everyone! Is it any wonder that my latest journal features the new Wonderfall stamp set? :o)  I don't think it's a secret how much I LOVE this set!!! I whipped this up last night and as I was putting my supplies away, decided to use them to create adapted cards for my "lunch box love notes" for my kids. On occasion, we could ALL use a reminder to "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams", couldn't we?

Ingredients: (All SU!)
Crumb Cake CS, Wonderfall Stamp Set, Woodgrain Background Stamp, Word Play Stamp Set, Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink, Daffodil Delight Classic Ink, Early Espresso Classic Ink and Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Crystal Effects

Wonderfall Coasters

Morning all! I'm back with my favourite new stamp set ;o) These tile coasters were really simple to make, and the best? I've embossed them with the new(ish) Vanilla Scented Embossing Powder! Mmmm mmmm! They make my house smell yummy!!! To make these coasters, stamp your fave image with craft ink onto the tiles, pour embossing powder on top, shake off excess, and bake 325 degrees until powder is melted (about 5 min in my oven). Easy peasy, and so beautiful!

Ingredients: (All SU! unless otherwise mentioned)
Craft Ink in Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Chocolate Chip, Wonderfall Stamp Set, Vanilla Scented Embossing Powder, tiles from my local hardware store, felt feet from my crafty stash.

Wonderfall Wreath!

Wonderfall Wreath measures 18" in diameter

Some of the details I love...this yummy rock and rolled Maple Leaf...

these oak leaves stamped off 3 times for varying depth of color, the acorns covered in Crystal Effects to give them a delicious sheen...

the Maple Leave cut from colored card stock, folded and run through my crimper to give some great depth and texture, and the Early Espresso Scalloped Tulle Ribbon to soften everything up!

Happy September everyone! Last weekend I was away, and had the pleasure of several hours of uninterrupted "me time" to create this wreath. I have it hanging in my front hall, and love, love, LOVE it! Thanks to the Autumn Accents Bigz Die, and Wonderfall Stamp Set (and SU!'s perfectly coordinating inks, papers, ribbons etc!) it is the perfect fall accent for my home. Hope you all enjoy!

Ingredients: (All SU! unless otherwise mentioned)
Very Vanilla CS, Dafodil Delight CS and Classic Ink, Cherry Cobbler CS and Classic Ink, Pumpkin Pie CS adn Classic Ink, Early Espresso Classic Ink and Scalloped Tulle Ribbon, Crimper, Log Cabin Shimmer Spray (retired), Crystal Effects, Greapevine Wreath from big box store.

It would be a great card to make for a boxed gift set!

Holiday Catty Card Swaps

Good morning everyone! I was in a Holiday Catalogue Card Swap this month, and we just received them last night. We were supposed to use products from the newly released Holiday Catalogue. This is the card I made and I've mounted it on 3 different full cards to see the different moods it has with the different colors. I've added a few close ups, so you can see the details...the stamp set featured is the new Wonderfall set, and has been cut out using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die. The Cherry Cobbler flag is the maple leaf stamp, but trimmed to a flag. The Early Espresso netting flag is cut from the Scalloped Tulle Ribbon, and the So Saffron flag was made using the Bitty Banner Framelits. Also...check out the background...it's embossed using the new Woodgrain Embossing Folder! I love this new set, and you'll be seeing it often around here! ;o)

Come back Mon, and I'll be sharing a few of the swaps I received! Hope you all have a fabby weekend!
