SPCC 45

Hello all! Here is this weeks SPCC Color Challenge. Be sure to click here to head on over to the ever talented Samantha's site, and see all the other gorgeous creations, and to post one of your own. As always, Samantha has a great prize for the winner of the challenge, a prize she independently donates each week! Thanks Samantha for your generosity, and the continued inspiration you provide us with!

I'll be honest...when I saw this combo, I had nothing! Then I sat down and flipped through my binder (when I get a new stamp set, I always ink it up in basic grey on a white paper and file it alphabetically in a binder to refer to at a later date. I find doing this, I always have a visual of what stamp is where, and also the neutral color doesn't prejudice my mind as to how I "should" use a stamp set) and the ideas started pouring in! I think I'll be coming back to this combo in the future!!!

Big C's teacher is leaving at the end of April, and it's been such a wonderful match for them both (I hope!) ;o) we really wanted to create a special card for a special thank you letter. Luckily for Big C, the new teacher is a returning one he's had before and has really worked well with, and the departing teacher is just moving down a few classroom doors to cover another maternity leave. All in all, things will work out well I am sure!

Ingredients: (All SU!)unless otherwise mentioned)
Dusty Durango CS, 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon and Stampin' Write, Kraft CS (which is being renamed coming the July 1 catalogue release, to Crumb Cake. Best of all...we will be getting a matching ink pad!!! EEEKS! Sooo excited!), Green Galore CS, Sahara Sand Classic Ink, Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button, Extra Large Two-Step Bird Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Scallop Trim Corner Punch, twine from my crafty stash.
