Artful Inkers Design Team Post

Morning everyone! Here is another post for the Artful Inkers Design Team. Four of my team mates were selected to showcase 1 Suite from the current Occasions Mini. I was fortunate enough to get my pick of the Nature's Walk Suite...I love this suite, the designer papers are gorgeous, the stamp sets are beautiful and the color combo is so soothing. Love it! Anyway, today I made a little paper basket from the DSP and some Not Quite Navy Ribbon. The template for the basket came from a magazine quite a while ago, I just can't remember which one! It may have been Chatelaine, Canadian Living, or even Modern Dog! Sorry not to have been more helpful with that, my searches are coming up empty, but I am sure it wasn't a stamping mag!

Artful*Inkers Design Team, Botanical Gazette Suite

Morning everyone! Can I tell you how much I adore this card? It was a bit more labour intensive than my usual, and sure would weigh a ton for mailing, but I really do love it!

Well, welcome back to the Artful*Inkers Design Team, reveal...for the month of March I will be posting any other projects I made with the Botanical Gazette Suite that didn't fit into the previous 4 categories. (Jan. 4th was Birthday Cards, Jan. 15th was Valentine's Day, Feb. 1st was all things "book like", Feb. 15th was 3D items, and now we're in the March, "everything else" category!) Early Espresso CS and Classic Ink, Very Vanilla Textured CS, Marina Mist CS, Classic Ink, 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Botanical Gazette DSP, Clearly For You Stamp Set, Beveled Window Panes, Extra Large Decorative Label Punch, thread from my crafty stash.

Artful*Inkers Design Team, All things "booklike"

Hey there friends! Here is another journal I made for myself, and luckily it fits into this weeks Artful*Inkers Design Team requirements! LOL! Can you tell I loooove this DP? Seems all of my personal things are being covered in it!!! Can anyone guess where the inspiration for the flower came from? I still have an unopened package of the Stitched Felt Sweet Pea Embellies in my cupboard that I really wanted to use, but since this note pad is one I carry everywhere, I didn't want to risk having it rip off and ruin my book. So voila! SU! CS, punches and a white gel pen to the rescue, and I can have my flower without detriment to my book.

Ingredients: (All SU!)
Botanical Gazette DSP, Pretty in Pink CS and Classic Ink, Old Olive CS and Classic Ink, Early Espresso CS, White Gel Pen, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, 1" Circle Medium Punch, Fancy Flower Extra Large Punch, Heart to Heart Extra Large Punch, Slot Punch...which I don't see in the catty anywhere...did it retire???

A little tip...the leaves are from the Heart to Heart Punch, but one "bump" is trimmed with my snips to be uneven giving it more of a leaf look than a heart look.
