You're in my Thoughts

So I've been on holidays for a bit, and one of the challenges I set out for myself, was to take a color combo (Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Cajun Craze, and a neutral of Very Vanilla), a sentiment stamp set (Word Play), a Christmas Stamp Set (Delightful Decorations, and then I cheated and added a second set Tree Trimmings. I justified this with the thought that they are the same "type" of :o), and a set that I didn't think of as being a typical one for the color combo I chose (I {Heart} Hearts) and see what I could come up with! I also took a bevy of accessories and punches along, so here goes! Oh, and I took a copy of July/Aug PaperCrafts Mag, and the following ideas are all adapted from other companies, to Stampin' Up! products. Hope you enjoy!

There's a couple of surprises in this card. First, did you see the sweet l'il twine butterfly? And second, can you guess what stamp I used for my scallops? It's the solid heart from the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set! Cute, right?

Spotlighting

Hey there! I've lost track what card # this is from the Waterloo Technique Stamp Camp this past Saturday! LOL! I think this was tied for the fave card of the day...keep tuned to see the Iris fold card, I think those 2 are still duking it out to win "Favorite Card" title! ;o)

There was an extra card kit left over from the Techniques Stamp Camp, so when I got home, I sat down to play! I changed up the stamp sets, but otherwise kept everything the same. Love it! (Stamps used here are En Francais and I {Heart} Hearts)

Hey! I can't believe I didn't post this yet! Not sure what I (wasn't) thinking! LOL! I made a bunch of these full sized cards to mail out for Valentine's Day, and the mini's were for the kiddo's!

Happy Third Day After Valentine's Day!

Happy (third) day after Valentines Day everyone! I didn't want to post the kiddies class Valentine's before the big day, in order not to ruin their classmates surprise. I was expecting to be able to post this on the 15th, but I realized I had Artful*Inkers Design Team Posts pre-scheduled for the 15th and 16th, so here we are! Happy THIRD Day After Valentine's Day! LOL! These were so fun, easy, and yummy to make! I hope they were enjoyed!

Hey there friends! Here is the card Andrea Walford demo'd at our last team meeting. Super cute, right??? I altered mine verrrry slightly, the small heart was red, with black embossing powder around the edges, but mine kept smudging, so I re-stamped mine at home! I like the black heart there!

Corny, right??? Sorry girls, I could NOT resist! ;o) My main floor powder room, has a spot to display stamped clocks. I had my Christmas clock there until this past weekend, when I finally got around to stamping a new one. The inspiration came from the gorgeous card one of my sidelines (Ruth Hill) created for our last team meeting swaps. Looking at the 2 items side by side, I am thinking I need to add some of that uber sweet Pom Pom Trim to my next Stampin' Up! order to embellish the frame!!!
