Simon

Hello! If you are just joining in, Tuesday I started posting a series of "name frames" I have created. You may want to start there, and continue to follow daily until you've seen them all. I am not posting ingredients, as I have used up a bunch of retired colors, papers, stamp sets, and some non SU! stuff I have taking up room in my cupboards. If you'd like to know what a specific product is, leave a comment and I will get back to you. Hope you enjoy them!
Hugs,
Robbyn

(*Thank You!)

Ok, how FUN is this card??? I know I've mentioned that we've recently moved. I'm not sure if I've mentioned enough how incredibly blessed we've been with all the help we've had. Family, to friends, to people I hardly know have crawled out of the woodwork to help in the move, in building (and we've done extensive building...the studio for one thing!), painting, unpacking, childminding, and making life just that much easier for us. Thanks each and every one of you!

I sat down last night to create a lot of thank you cards. I had them all planned out, and in my mind they looked completely different. Then I pulled out the Lots of Bots Stamp Set for the screw/nuts image, and suddenly this card popped into my brain! So Voila! Hope you're all as charmed by it, as I am!

Ingredients: (all SU!)
Lots of Bots Stamp Set, (the "Thank You" is an SU! image, but it's lost its home...any ideas anyone???) Soft Suede Classic Ink and Stampin' Write, Melon Mambo Stampin' Write, Aqua Painter.

SFYTT

Hi all! So, instead of packing like I should have been doing last night, I decided to create a card for the fabby Jen delMuro's "I {heart} to Stamp" sketch challenge. (link here for the sketch and to check out all the other gorgeous entries http://iheart2stamp.com/2009/11/14/your-next-stamp-sketch-for-you-to-try/ )I must admit, sitting and creating probably brought my stress level down 10 notches, so in retrospect, it was the best thing I could have done! LOL! And on to the whole packing, moving, stress level thing...it will likely be pretty quiet over here for the next few days while we get moved out and settled into our month long stop over spot, prior to moving into our new home! Bear with me, and I promise I will be back! (Also, it seems I can't link directly to my blog right now...too little patience and too much stuff to do to fuss with it. If you can't directly click my links, please copy and paste into your address bar, I believe you'll love all the sites I'm "trying" to link to! This coming week I'll figure out the glitch and fix it all)

Ok...onto the card....

Ingredients: (All SU! unless otherwise mentioned)
Very Vanilla CS, Baja Breeze CS and Classic Ink, Chocolate Chip Classic Ink, Stamp a ma jig, Sanding Block, Lots of Bots Stamp Set, Totally Tool Stamp Set, "Moravia" DSP by S.E.I., 1 1/4" circle punch by Marvy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!! (Plus MOJO106, and SPCC#17)

Ok, firstly, I have to wish my dad a Happy Birthday, and secondly, I have to say "Oh my word! Isn't this card cute?!?" (Now dad, if you check this out before you see us tonight, please act surprised ;o) I must tell you, my dad LOVES DQ, and tends to "use" my kids to get there more frequently than any other adult would. LOL! So Big C, L'il C and I, all decided the best gift for my dad would be his very own DQ gift card. No need to rationalize now, right? He can go when ever he wants! (LOL! I have used this theory many times when I have a crafting gift card, or coupon, or heck...just a good old sale is an excellent excuse! I hear lots of heads nodding out there in agreement.....)

Anywho...The sketch comes from the Mojo Monday site (link here for the original sketch, the design team products, and the other entries http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2009/09/mojo-monday-week-106.html ). I took the liberty of flipping the sketch 90 degrees to fit my Lots of Bots stamp. And the colors (should be Real Red, So Saffron, Bashful Blue and Old Olive...I was really low on card stock, so had to substitute some colors, see the ingredients list below for the true info) comes from Samantha's SPCC Color Challenge (link here for the swatch, and other gorgeous creations http://spcolorcombos.blogspot.com/2009/09/spcc-17.html ).
