Thanks for coming back friends! Here are the remaining cards from our Artful*Inkers March 2012 swap. The theme was white space. While these cards have left their white space all white....technically "white space" is the unused portion of your card stock, and can be any color. Check out my submission for what I mean! ;o) Have a great day everyone!

Artful*Inkers March 2012 Swaps, White Space
Created by Samantha
Created by Vanessa
Morning friends! The theme at our team meeting this month was "white space". (I entered this card, and nope! It's not white in color. The term "white space" refers to the empty space in the design not the color of the background) These 2 cards were created by fellow team mates Samantha and Vanessa, thanks girls, I love them!

I'm not late, technically I'm 361 days early.... :o)
So, I'm embarrassed to admit this....sometimes I get really great ideas, that just stay in my head. Sometimes I get really great ideas with I make and proudly display. And other times I get really great ideas, which I do all the prep work for, and then once I've satisfied myself with how it would look WHEN completed, I just leave it on my desk. Well, this is one such project...it's been laid out on my desk for about a month now. I assembled it on the 18th, and hung it on the 20th. A whole 3 days AFTER St. Patrick's Day!!! Well, at least it's made and photographed, and will be ready for next St. Patrick's Day in plenty of time! Have a good day all, it's another gorgeous day in my neighborhood!

Spring Blossoms
I don't know about where you live, but our weather is glorious here! We've had record breaking highs, we spent all of March break in shorts and t's and the crocuses are out in bloom! I don't remember a March this beautiful EVER! It was time to bring some spring into the house, and I knew just the way to do it. I upcycled my twigs from my Christmas planters, used my new Island Florals Bigz Die, some pretty DSP, and mini brads to adhere the flowers to the twigs. Easy peasy, and so cute! Ok, off for another beautiful walk with the doggies...happy sigh.... :o)
Ingredients: (All SU!)
Island Floral Bigz Die, 3/4" Circle Punch, Fancy Flower Extra Large Punch, Mini Brads, Flirtatious Specialty DSP

Many Mustaches Card
I have to admit it....I don't "get" the mustache craze! :o) I think it's hysterical that there are SO MANY mustache things out there now, and have a friend that agrees. We send each other unusual mustache pictures when we come across them, and the other day she sent me a snow globe with a mustache in it. As a thanks you, I had to make her this card! And since a mustache doesn't really "belong" in a snow globe, I had to stamp the mustaches in color that don't really belong either! Enjoy!
Ingredients: (All SU!)
Concord Crush CS and Stampin' Write, Peach Parfait, Perfect Plum and Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Writes, Whisper White CS, Simply Scored Board, Pear Pizzazz DSP.

Card Sketch Books
(this book was made for a friend...I ran out of letters, and knew she had her own chipboard letters she could adhere which would match the Paisley Petals DSP. Only a true crafter would give/and love to receive a "partially made" giftie! LOL!)
Morning Friends! Check out these great sketch books I created following Kristina's video tutorial, and freebie page printout. I always have a ton of loose scrap papers covered with card sketches (which I lose), or notebooks filled with sketches (which my dogs eat. Seriously.), or photos I've taken and never refer back to. This book can fit easily in my purse, be stored safely from dog mouths on my desk, and can travel with me to events preventing the forgotten-photo-idea-syndrome many of us probably suffer from :o) I am LOVING it! By printing 5 double sided pages, I have room enough for 70 sketches...should keep me going for a while!
Ingredients: (All SU! unless otherwise mentioned)
Flirtatious Specialty DSP, Paisley Petals DSP, Scallop Trim Border Punch, 1" Circle Medium Punch, Melon Mambo DSP, Not Quite Navy DSP, White Signo Gel Pen, chipboard letters from my crafty stash.

Happy Birthday Big C!
Happy Monday Everyone! Yesterday was Big C's 13th Birthday, (which is crazy all on it's own!) and I wanted to share one of his presents with you all. He loves baseball, and my parents registered him for a Blue Jays Camp this summer as his gift. The coaches are real Blue Jays Players! So, Big C and his Papa needed autograph books and a place to record all the great tips they get while at camp, so I made 2 baseball themed note books, one for each of them. I think they both loved them! ;o)
Ingredients: (all SU!)
Just Baseball (retired), Home Run, Netting Background Stamp, Crumb Cake CS and Classic Ink, Real Red CS and Stampin' Write, Bashful Blue CS and Classic Ink, Very Vanilla Textured CS, 1 3/4" Circle Extra Large Punch, Mini Brads, Stripes Embossing Folder
