Stampin' Palooza Name Tag and Mug

Hi again Ladies! A quick post today to show off my name tag and coffee cup I made to take to Stampin' Palooza this past weekend. I love my name tag so much, I joked to a friend "I wish I could wear my name tag everywhere!" LOL! (Don't worry, I won't...)

Extra Large Two Step Bird Punch, Chocolate Chip Classic Ink, Close To Cocoa CS, Old Olive CS, Garden Green Classic Ink, Ruby Red CS, Really Rust Classic Ink, Pale Plum CS and Classic Ink, Fast Flowers Standard Wheel, Itty Bitty Bits Stamp Set, Itty Bitty Punches, Candy Lane DSP, Letters and Seed Beads from my stash, coffee cup from Starbucks.

Stampin' Palooza Card Front Swaps

This weekend was my first time attending Caroline LeBel's Stampin' Palooza, and I have to say, it was well worth it! (Even the 2 hour stopped traffic on the 401, resulting in being 1 1/2 hours late...grrr...) We had such fun creating, learning, laughing and OMG...EATING! I will be posting the projects we made over the next few days, but today I am going to start with the card fronts I made to swap. I made 30, it took DAYS ( I need to learn to simplify!), and that equals 600 punched flowers, approximately 1500 stamped flowers and 600 seed beads. I loved making them, and love the result, but my word it was a lot of work! LOL! (And, oh yeah, since I was late, I missed most of the swapping and came home with at least half of them...be forewarned my swappy friends...these may be my swaps for the next several meetings! Heehee!)

(Plus...it was the 1st time I got the Scallop Trim Corner Punch to make such gorgeous squares...I had to keep going! LOL!) Be forewarned ladies! I loved the color combo on this so much, tomorrows post has very definitely taken some big inspiration from this card! LOL! I love (semi) "case"-ing your own work. ;o)

I'm trying to wrap my head around the soon to be released SU! Color Collections, so pulled out the list of remaining colors and set to work to design a baby card. I must say, I do think the result is sweet, sweet, sweet! (Soon to be released products from the upcoming Summer Mini are highlighted in the ingredients list below)

Very Vanilla CS, Bashful Blue CS and Classic Ink, So Saffron Classic Ink and 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Night of Navy Classic Ink, Scallop Trim Corner Punch, Itty Bitty Bits Stamp Set, Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, and I don't have the SU! Star Punch, so I traced it from the catalogue, and transferred it to VV CS to hand cut...I think I need to invest in the punch now, it would make this card so much quicker to reproduce!!!

To be honest, I was NOT loving it, until I pulled out that ribbon, and stapler, and gave it a bit of attitude! LOL! Hi all! My upline is hosting "Stamp 4 Fun" this coming weekend for all her downlines.
